First off, this problem is not on my computer, but two computers of friends. At first I thought it was specific to a friend's machine till I saw it happen on another. For some reason, the official viewer on both machines all of a sudden refuses to open. Firestorm works just fine though. The computers I have made sure were clean but running several scans, combofix, malware bytes, antivir, and super anti spyware. Ive cleaned the registry with Eusing Registry Cleaner, removed temp files with Ccleaner, and manually empted leftover stuff myself. I have tried cleaning out the files in the prefetch folder for the corresponding program, after removing the second life program, and I have also deleted its folder in Program files. Then ran the registry cleaner after that. Ive restarted the computer after doing all that, updated the video card driver, and tried everything I could think of. Removed the antivirus, made sure no firewalls were blocking it, mad sure it was not showing in processes under task manager, but nothing I do will make the program come back up. You can click the shortcut, or the actual start file inside its folder in program files, you will see the load bar on windows kick in like its going to load, then it goes away, and the program never loads. The only thing in common with both systems are they both have Windows Vista, and both have firestorm, which I have removed just in case it was causing a conflict. Any suggestions on something I may be overlooking, or ideas to try? Thank you for your time, Jason Schoon
