What an amusing thread!

Hello residents! For those new kids on the block looking for friends and/or help with anything inworld, I'm far from an expert but I have been around for a while and really enjoy showing people around. It's a great way to make new connections and friends so drop me a line if you want to hang out. I enjoy exploring, fashion, music and photography but I'm always open to discover new activities around the grid. I'm usually on evening/night almost everyday. That's from 4-5pmSLT to whenever I'm bored Looking forward to meet new people and help out whenever possible! I've set a new landing point in the about land window a million times but everytime I TP back in I'm still landing somewhere else. Is this option not available for Linden houses or I am missing something? Thanks EDIT: I totally meant within the house. Although the house is small enough I'm landing outside on top of furniture and I may be picky but I would rather not land there but inside the house in a clear space. It also means I can't lock my door for strangers and still give access to my friends if I'm not online because they are landing outside. And yes I have a security system, I still rather land in the living room and not on top of the hot tub if possible

Hi peeps! I've been jumping around for a couple of weeks after a long break and it seems like most of the places and people I knew are not around anymore, or just not the same so I'm looking for fun people who would like to re introduce me to the wonders of SL. I like beaches, exploring, dancing and just generally getting to meet new people. I'm not really into anything in particular but just a broad social game. I'm 29 from USA with a fairly amount of free time and don't really know how to spend it. If you like to meet new people, talk about nothing and dance your boredom away like I do hit me up inworld, even if I'm offline. My only rule is be an adult ;)

I was prompted to upgrade the SL viewer about 2 weeks ago and since then I haven't been able to use the search or profile options. When I click on the buttons, the window opens but nothing loads, not even the title on top and it just stays grey. Everything else works fine, it is just those two. I tried downgrading to the previous version and same thing so I deleted the whole thing and re-installed it from the SL website from scratch and that didn't solve the problem either. Does anyone know what could be causing that? I'm including a screenshot so you know what I'm talking about. Please don't tell me it could be a temporary bug cause it has been 2 weeks and please don't tell me to use a different viewer because I don't like them. How can I fix this one? Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Thanks! EDIT: I have tried both options already and still have the same problem, any other ideas?

I don't want to receive an email from the MP everytime I buy something, but I want to, for example, keep receiving offline IMs. I can't find anywhere how to set this up, all I found was the promotional SL email subscriptions. Is this even possible? Hints? Thanks!
