I've recently purchased my first full sim region from Linden Labs and during development of my sim, I deeded the land to my development group. Now that we're open to the general public, I've come to realize that I'm unable to figure out how to change the group the land is deeded to. Now I fear that if I follow the suggestions that I've come across, if I were to Reclaim the land, that everything that my group and I have built on this sim for the last two months will get returned. Is there a way that I can re-deed this land to the correct group without destroying months worth of hard work?

I am a prospective content creator for SecondLife, but will not be selling my creations in-world or in the Marketplace. They are strictly for use for my personal sim, which will be open to the public. However, the recent changes to the ToS state that when I upload my meshes, it becomes the property to Linden Labs. That if my intellectual property is displayed publicly, I give anyone and everyone who comes there rights to copy, modify, and distribute my work? And that I can do nothing about that? To me, that says, "Oh hey, you can go anywhere you want and steal and change whatever you want and sell it to make money." So, my question is.... "Uh.... what? You can't be serious." Is this actually what LL is saying now? Or can I get some kind of clarification that doesn't need a lawyer to interpret?

I seem to be having issues with hair. I've recently purchased some nice looking hair, and my avatar being very unique in a manner of speaking it's very difficult to find hair that matches or fits. Now that I have, randomly, and usually after teleporting, my hair becomes invisible to other users yet still visible to me. At this point, trying to detach the hair is pointless and won't detach. I end up having to relog and it's rather frustrating. There are other times that detaching and reattaching works, but not very often. Can anyone tell me why it does this and how I can have a permanent solution, if any? EDIT: As far as I know it's not a mesh hair. It's editable and resizable without scripts. I've done what you suggested though, but if there is something else that could possibly be it for a non-rigged non-meshed hair, that would be nice.

I purchased around $12 USD of Lindens right as the servers went down and have yet to recieve them. I realize that they had some issues, but I'm just hoping my transaction didn't get lost in the hubub. The money was taken from my Paypal at the time I purchased them so I know the transaction was successful. I just haven't recieved my Lindens, and it's been about seven hours. Just wanted to say thanks for the wise-ass reply, Valerie. I'm really glad someone out here in the vast sea of people willing to actually "help" answer a question can be so thoughtful as to chime their two cents worth of uselessness after my question has already been answered.

I'm trying to figure out how to set a specific location in my region so when people teleport in, they arrive at a specific area. I know it has something to do with a telehub, but I'm lost when it comes to how to work it.

Tried "rebaking". Tried other suggestions posted here: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_bake_fail Tried previous suggestion of wearing alpha mask or demo skin. None of this worked or none of this is the case. I've relogged about four times, once waiting almost twenty minutes. I've reverted back to my previous skin and rebaked, reloaded, and nothing is working.

I bought a new skin for my avatar, and after putting it on my torso has disappeared. I've reverted back to my previous skin, reloaded my SL viewer twice and it still hasn't become visible again. This happened once before and it seemed to fix itself over a small period of time. Is there something I can do, or can someone tell me why this is happening? I've followed your suggestion and I'm not wearing any alpha masks, and the skin was not a demo. Is there anything else? I've tried "rebaking" my avatar several times and it has been ineffective.

I'm new here and I'm not sure the Linden system works. I purchased $30USD in Lindens over 24 hours ago, yet I still can't buy more. Is there a reason, and when will I be able to purchase more again?
