I've come back to SL after a bit of a hiatus, (five months). I reinstalled the viewer yesterday, and ever since then I've been crashing a few minutes after logging in. It let up a bit last night and I was able to stay in one place as long as I didn't tp anywhere. If I tried to teleport, I would crash after arriving at the location. No error messages - these are silent crashes and I'm not aware I crash until i realize I can't walk. I have a strong internet connection and I know my computer and graphics card are more than adequate. It seems that it has gotten worse this morning - whereas yesterday I was able to stay in the region I logged into, Now I'll crash a minute or two after I log in, with or without TPing. I thought it was possibly because I didn't have many GB of storage left on my computer, but that isn't the problem. I cleared the cache as well, lowered the graphics and draw distance, and turned off antialiasing. I've tried just about everything I can think of, but I'm not incredibly tech saavy. Hopefully you guys can help me solve the problem! EDIT: I'm using SL Viewer 3. I switched to Pheonix Firestorm to see if it has made any difference, but it hasn't.
