Hi there, Because I was rush in my decision. I deleted my main account, but after a week I felt a pang in my stomach telling me It was a really irrational decision since I had a few cherished memories of that account and even if I wasn't on SL much it would be fun to get on it once in a while. ( + I had spent soooooo much money on clothes, it's like a trophy account) Anyway, I started a support case for my avatar as you do. And it was all good at the start, they asked for my DOB on that account and my security question which I believed I knew. But apparently I didn't since the next email I received said: " Thank you for responding to our information request. Unfortunately, the information we received doesn't match the registration details you entered when you signed up for your Second Life account."Now I was a bit flabbergasted considering I know exactly my DOB and the security question I registered with. I am 100% sure of them. But then I remembered before SL made the age verification process really easy I DID fake my information with a friend's because all the times I tried with my own credentials it wasn't working. At first because I did not understand the American terms used, then my friend showed me they had different terms from Australia, but even then after I knew which what to fill with what, NOTHING worked. And I was pretty upset since well- I was already 18 at the time, and I HAVE credentials to prove it- that is not the problem. Now to the CORE PROBLEM: The next email I sent them after they told me to submit credentials- I confessed to them straight up that I used someone else's car license details instead of my own, because I am desperate to get my primary account back. And don't mind if I pay some money for it. I pretty much wrote any little detail about my primary avatar that proves it is mine. But their only response was: "Please submit a copy of one form of government-issued ID that clearly shows both your legal name and your date of birth. You may send your identity/age verification documentation via attachment to this support case, via fax to the number listed below, or via mail to the address listed below. A scanned attachment is the quickest method. Please include this support case number reference in any communication." Now the REAL QUESTION is: I'm concerned if I give them my real credentials - they are going to charge me with fraud or actually reactivate my account since I will give them my real credentials… So now I am a bit paranoid, do they want my information to charge me, since I DID use fake information at first - I am not denying my fault here- Or do they want my real documents to help me out and reactivate my account… What are your thoughts on the issues. I already know I did something wrong- that is not in question. I just would like to know people's opinion- Do you think I should sent them a real copy of my driver's license or not? I want my account back BADLY and am willing to pay ( money ) for it not gain a criminal record. I do nothing wrong on SL in fact I am a faithful costumer who buys a lot of clothes, shops- And I've never set foot out of line expect for being really eager to being able to visit adult sims. NOTE: Take in mind I DO NOT have the billing information filled, so i'm NOT stealing money from anyone, my boyfriend gives me money. The only information I HAVE falsified was using someone else's license details to age verify. What goes around comes around I guess. I can't even stress how much I would never do something illegal I'm a honest person and even now I'm upfront about the mistake I made I am NOT giving excuses or taking a persona: " My friend has a problem she used fake identification blah blah" But I really did not think things through when I was age verifying.
