i sent him a im and notecard and hes online but guess hes not feeling like dealing with this right now or just busy,ill leave the posts down till I can meet with him as its not my intention to sell stolen or exact copy items.i went to his store and took a look around and some of the hairs do look a like.anyone know any reputable stores that sell legal full perm hair?

First of before trying to be judge jury and executioner you should know what your talking about its a good thing you don't run the country or your own mother would be in jail by now,the ao is made by vista is well known to be a free to use ao that vista gives out to use for adding your own animations in to sell and customize as you see fit.as far as the skins go they are open permission psd's that you can get for free off the internet and modify,and as far as the hair goes the notecard didn't say it was modeled after truth hair in particular it just stated that it was "modeled after some of the most popular hairs in sl"and its funny someone claimed its truth hair prim for prim when they haven't even bought a copy so there for would have no way of telling. i acualy asked the LL IP team to have the person who filed the DMCA to contact me so they could tell me what they believe is there's so I could remove it.Still no message.just because something looks like something don't mean it is that something that it looks like.if the person who filed the DMCA contacted me and simply told me they are the creators/owner of said product with even the slightest proof I would happy remove it and apologize but after paying a lot of money for something so I could make some money back, makes it hard to swallow the puchace.and as far as a counter notice its not just saying that you are the copyright owner its claiming in good faith that you have permission to have use of the products in question and I bought them from a person selling them as a business in a box there for would assume im under the assumption I could sell them there for my counter notification is not fraudulent.i will try to get ahold of truth and see if he can rez some of his hairs out to check if there the exact same or not as i have heard nothing from him yet.for now i disabled the listings til i can get ahold of truth and get together with me and see if the hair is infact his

the items got reinstated today i guess its ten buzness days not ten days.the hair is modeled after truth hair but not created buy him acording to the notecard it has another creators name on them that i wont mention to respect his privacy that came with them,i know making something that looks like someone elts can be considered a copyright issue but hair styles?i mean he had to have copyed someones hair to begine with i dont think you could copyright a pony tail or anything?

wierd the one problem ive never had is with linden not taking my money for lindens lol.i droped my premium along time ago also as there is no point to it if you dont get any better support.im sure if you filed a report about not being able to give them money they will jump right on it for you=)

no there are plenty of people who file false DMCA reports seings as all they ask for is a fax and that can esaly be sent from just about anywear so no way to track these morons,i can only assume its competition who dont want you selling better items for less money on marketplace. i have several stores on marketplace selling several types of items and i get DMCA complaints fairly often the prosses is pretty frustrating and LL seams to make fighting one a pain and wont give you any infomation on who filed it.

I got a "DMCA" report on half of my store a few weeks back I promptly submitted a counter notification and was told I had to wait ten days for the items to be restored. Now the parts that are dumb.first off they don't tell you who filed the complaint so you can't try to figure out exactly what there complaining they created so you can come to a comfortable arrangement or remove the item in question without deleting the whole post when there are like 50 items in the package(my items are full avatars and 95% I created myself and 5% I bought with full perms with resale rights) then secondly you have to FAX the counter notice to them haven't they heard about this futuristic thing called email yet or for that matter a phone?Who still usually uses a fax machine anymore unless you own a business?So anyways after jumping through hoops im told my items will be reinstated in 10 days well its about two weeks now since I got confirmation they got my counter notice and still have not unlocked my posts and they just ignore all emails sent to them(three and counting) its bad enuff that just anyone can file a DMCA on anything you post with no proof and you have to spend the better part of a day to fight it.and once your done you still have to wait 10 day or more and your still without your revenue and 0 support.
