Um..... it worked at first...... but now it made me dc again. It didn't freeze up as bad, but I still dced from SL when chrome finally finished loading.

Would this be under develop> http textures in firestorm? Edit.... I guess that was it. Um..... So far no crashing when loading. I'll try a few more sites.

I just got a new laptop.... about 3 months old now. HP 2000 with windows 8, 2gb of ram. Not that fast, but it runs sl fairly smoothly. There's just one issue. I've been using firestorm, and every single time I open an external browser like google chrome or firefox, firestorm goes unresponsive for several minutes on end.... until I disconnect from in world, or the viewer crashes all together Most of the time I'm have to unplug my laptop, and I know that's bad supposedly. The only way to stop it from dcing is to load my browser first then SL.... but I don't know if it's the viewer, or the browser.... Anyone else have this problem? Edit, it seems that any viewer I use crashes when opening google chrome. It's like.... chrome sucks the life of out SL.

Ok, I have this certain outfit that I was trying to resize to make fit right... I was trying to resize the boots in build mode, and then I changed my skin, and all a sudden my shirt and jacket disappeared into my skin... so now no matter how many times I rebake, or what skin I'm wearing, I look topless even though I'm not. I went in to edit appearance just a few minutes ago and looked at the shirt/jacket properties, and I noticed that the texture completely disappeared, when I did nothing to it. I'd put a screen shot but it probably be inappropriate. How can I fix this?

I have problems uploading in Pathfinding regions. I can upload in other regions. Some viewer versions will NOT upload regardless of regions. A previous Dev Viewer version had that problem. You will have to experiement and see if something works for you. I haven't changed my password, but I will keep tabs on that JIRA item.

I've tried on 3 different viewers... Original, Phoenix, and Firestorm. It doesn't matter which one I use.... this always happens.... Help? Here's my computer stats btw.... Windows 7 home premium Processor: Intel(R) 2.20GHz Celeron(R) 2.19GHz Ram: 2GB System type: 64 bit

Be wary of any full perm AO you receive, or at this point in SL, probably any full perm item someone hands to you. We've mostly all learned by now that a full perm freebie is probably either ancient, or stolen, or both. Note there are always exceptions, just be wary. And ask yourself if you know the person giving it to you and where did they get it from themselves? There is nothing wrong with the Tuty's AO provided you got it from Tuty's and it is no transfer, not a Tuty's fake that someone made, or something. I'm trying to cover all bases because I can see you're kinda new to this. You only need to wear one AO, more than one won't work at once anyway, I don't think, and it will really slow down your SL. Thank you for the advice. I ended up using the Tuty's AO most of the time since it was the cutiest. Btw this is my new name. I canceled my other account for fear that something malicious happened with it, but it took 2 days to go through. Usually I'm pretty careful about what I buy, and I usually only get things with 4 star ratings or higher (I think life shop had a 4 star)... but I guess I need to pay more attention to the negative reviews.
