  1. When trying to move an avatar with the arrow keys or the movement window, the avatar does not try to walk to the new position as in the past, instead it floats almost like skating (without the leg or arm movements) to the new position, sometimes quite erratically depending on where in the animation you try to move. I was using a big sweeping type dance when I noticed it. It is even more pronounced when using collar animation, such as being in a kneel and trying walk while in kneel, it's like riding a flying carpet about an inch off the floor. Anyone noticed this? Any suggestions on correcting it? Thanks Briana p.s. I have the same behaviou in Firestorm, Catznip and the Linden viewer and on two different systems both running a high end Nvidia card one a quad core with 4 G of ram the other an i7 laptop with 8 G p,p.s. I also posted in the RLV group in SL and received some great suggestions all of which unfortunately I had tried. I put everything back on and it fixed itself. I suspect an AO in a pair of boots that was trying to start, when it eventually did, things cleared up...I cannot explain why after I removed the boots the behaviour continued...but then, we aren't meant to know Everything thank you for your answer
