  1. I recently started to use Singularity Viewer. The viewer is very fast for me and I enjoy it. However when i watch videos in world, they tend to move as if the video I am watching has low framerates or something. In world im moving fine as I checked the statistics. Watching videos however it moves a few frames at a time it seems then gets laggy and then moves. I'm not talking about the video stops, loads, stops. I mean its playing but it freezes slightly as if watching a web cam. Wonder if anyone has experienced any thing like this and might have a solution to it..
  2. Since last tuesday I have suddenly experienced some weird movement. Choppy like. I see avis moving fine but its like I see a slight bit of slow motion however. I noticed when my camera is off center from my avatar my framerates go up. If i center my camera at normal position or even move it closer to my avatar my framrates start to really drop. I'm starting to get like 5 fps for some reason. I'm not sure what's causing these issues. Mostly I wanted to know if it might be I need a new graphics card. I have done router/modem resets, speedtest, ping test and all of it looks fine. I am currenly using phoenix viewer 1.5 cause I cant currently handle mesh viewers. Here are my system specs CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X2 550 Processor (3114.16 MHz) Memory: 6112 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit (Build 7600) Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a/integrated/SSE2 Windows Graphics Driver Version: 9.18.0013.0623 OpenGL Version: 2.1.2 I'm just curious cause last monday it all seemed fine, but then tuesday is when it all started to happen. I also should mention the saturday before last, Second Life had some weird issues going on. I'd freeze in some sims and get logged out. I'd crash during tp'ing and it happened so some friends of mine. It was like that until maybe mid sunday it all was finally stable. Main question is, if it is my GC, is i possible I could be running fine one day and the next SL decides my GC just isnt strong enough to perform like it once was?
  3. Yesterday on Phoenix things seemed to be running and working fine. Then possibly around 8 p.m. (5 SLT) things started to happen. I relogged on and alt and maybe 3 minutes in I couldn't move and I thought maybe my connection was going down but that wasn't the case. Anyway I crashed. Logged back on at a different sim, things seemed ok and thats when it really got weird. Trying to TP i would crash. Sometimes when Tp'ing it would say tp'ing has been disabled. When logging on it would say something about not being able to connect to the region during waiting for region handshake and say it was either a sever issue or my connection. Again it wasn't my connection I was on phoenix when this was happening and also tried firestorm and had similar issues. I also heard friends say they were having the same issues though not all of them, some had no issues at all. Right now I am using singularity viewer and it seems to be doing fine. Just wondered if anyone else has had any of these issues or know what is going on because it just started suddenly happening.
  4. So the problem I have is. I got a new computer and i remembered the main avatar name and login i use. However my alternate account, I cannot remember the password or email for the account. Am I just totally out of luck or is there some way I can retrieve information about how to go about getting back into the account.
