What error message, if any, do you get? NO error message , it is just stop at the point of initializing VFS. and nothing else !!

I can not launch secondlife viewer. I am happilly enjoy wandering in secondlife with my computer note book. Until this morning , when i want to to sign in secondlife., I can not launch secondlife viewer , it just stop at initializing VFS. It seem second life is not responding I reboot my computer and check my firewall and found that qll of my firewall is turn off. I restored the programme by download new Second life. Nothing happened , i still can not launch second life view ??????
