The same thing happened to me this morning. The solution was to change outfits: shape, hair, skin, the wholel nine yards. My avatar popped back up and has been completely normal ever since. Once I was normal again, I was able to go back to my preferred shape, hair, skin, etc. without a problem.

Everything else rezzes and looks normal, but my avatar remains in a cloud. This has been going on for several days. I thought it would self correct if I logged off and back on, but no luck. I've been in SL for several years and never had this problem before. Any thoughts?
