  1. Based on what you just said, I ran the speed test in that thread and, based on my results, I had to set my bandwith at 300kbps...and I am running fairly smoothly (pictures hanging on the wall or avatars not-withstanding).
  2. Well, its tolerable at lower bandwith now but I'll keep it up a bit, I have my bandwith set at 6200, so its normal for me.
  3. Theresa's suggestion worked for me!! I still have my bandwith set up to max though so I will try it at a lower setting. If I don't saything about it after, then it worked.
  4. So, as I mentioned in the last thread I started, I had issues with all the prims coming up as a purple-pink color after installing 3.2.8. This problem was corrected after I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my graphics card. Now Second Life runs exceedingly slow (the Client and Network lights on the lag meter are red). Thinking that perhaps the issue lie with my internet, I closed SL and proceeded to run a couple other online games (one not as demanding on resources as SL and the other just as demanding). These ran with no problem, nothing was different. I also tried reducing my graphics settings and increasing bandwith with no change on SL itself. So I'm wondering if maybe the problem might be on the SL servers itself? Is it possible that the lag I am getting might be due to maintainance being conducted or something? I might be wrong but a little confirmation is all I'm asking....
  5. I'll just stick with 3.2.5 until LL gets the issue fixed since it seems to be mostly affecting people with ATI graphics cards (which I have). Hopefully, it'll get fixed soon.
  6. So I log on and find out a new update has been released. I go and install the thing and log back in and EVERY single prim is now a purple/pink color! Of course, every solution I tried did not work so I went back to 3.2.5 and, surprise surprise, the prims are the color they are supposed to be. So...what happened and am I the only one with this problem?
