  1. Hi everyone, hope I'm in the right place when I ask this. I'm trying to build a swing concept, and am trying to figure out how to set up the ropes for it. I'm found emitter scripts that basically fire off 2D particles between an emitter and a receiver, which is decent in concept but looks a bit funky if one side of that system moves. What I'd like to do, if its even possible, is script an object, in this case, a rope of some sort, between two attachment points that move independently of eachother, with the rope itself stretching back and forth between two set anchors. Thus, if static, the rope stays the same length and in place, and if one side moves, the rope appears to move, stretch, or change in variation relative to its position from the other anchor point. I know I've seen some scripts which will resize objects at set intervals, but thats cumbersome and does not account for lag. Anyone have advice on this, or am I stuck with emitters?   2. So I'm coming here as I'm in a bit of a conundrum, and more time than I care to admit having gone into this project. I've been making animations for a while now in SL, and have almost exclusively used the AV Sitter system; its been great for furniture, but I'm trying to branch out and learn new things. To that effect..... I am trying to find a HUD or script set where I can, either through a command line or clicking on an invis prim I have hidden on my body, invite someone else to an animation without having to use poseballs. The most I've found are Sync Dance scripts where you just share the same animation, but in my case, I'm trying a couple's hud. I've made my own animations for it, a female and male hug, but the forays I've had yield them standing in place while playing the animation. What I would like to know, is there a way I can set up an animation invitation system without having to rez poseballs or use some sort of in-world medium that requires rezzing to invite someone to an animation and move both avatars to a pre-defined starting place so the animation syncs up and plays through?
