Incredibly disappointing to hear that the suname option is no longer being considered, after we were given so much hope previously. I don't understand why offering people the choice of picking from a provided list of names, or opting for "Resident" is a problem.

I am unable to use any available Viewer 3 platform. I can log in, and begin to rez, but then "The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display drive and is unable to continue. The application must close. Please visit http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html for help." I have tried downgrading to driver v260.99 like a lot of people have suggested. The problem persists. Specs (try not to laugh too much): Pentium Dual E2200 @ 2.2GHz 4G RAM (sadly, this is maxed out) Dx11 NVidia GeForce GT240, 1G RAM Windows 7 32-bit. Any suggestions other than the driver downgrade, or disabling OpenGL? As I spend most of my time in SL dabbling in photography, I cannot disable that and lose the ability to render shadows. Due to some financial constraints, new computers are currently out of the system, but we could upgrade the video cards.
