  1. Thanks so much for the info, I think it might be an issue with Open Sim, I'll do some testing on Monday at work. Also I'll try the seperate 3 box mesh idea for the physics shape. I plan to load SL at home this weekend and do some testing. Again I appreciate all of the advice, Cheers! :smileyhappy:
  2. - Kwakkelde Kwak I did just try switching to Physics Type None, still the same problem. I built the mesh in 3ds Max 2012, exported out as FBX then used Autodesk's FBX converter to convert to DAE collada format. For the physics shape I built it in Max also starting with a new mesh and having it cover the frame itself. The end result looks like this when I hit analyze http://i.imgur.com/bNoEq.jpg I plan to use Max to do all of my poly building, all other meshes I have uploaded have been fine, it's just doors I am having issues with. If anyone wants me to upload my DAE files I'd be happy to. Cheers.
  3. - Drongle McMahon Answer to your other question I did upload my mesh into a sandbox server, I couldn't access Aditi or Agni but I still got it in game. It's a giant door frame and not able to pass through it. The physic shape looks the same as that screen shot. Our private server is running Open Sim and using the SL viewer as well. I made sure this upload was set to *Prim under the Features option.

  5. - Drongle McMahon Thanks for the reply, yes I did set the physics properties. I've tried Prim and Convex Hull. Still unable to enter my doorway. -StoneDwarf Thanks, I tried your advice, but I'm still blocked. Let me know if I can share any other info or screens for trying to figure out this bug. Or possible *user error I know there are full Mesh objects up on the Marketplace so I must be missing something.
  6. Hey everyone currently at my job we are using SL for a client to build a virtual museum. I'm a little new to SL and we are using a private server for our test bed. The issue I'm having is when uploading a DAE mesh with physics mesh shape, it shows correctly in the uploader but in game it seems to be creating boxes around my rooms or door frames. Making it impossible to pass through. Also all of meshes are set to *prim I'll post my screen shots here. Also I've been reading past threads and have been using the FBX converter and also I created my collision mesh separately from my polygonal room. Meaning I did clone any faces off the original mesh. Linked Corrections, not sure how to embed images in post since HTML image tag didn't work. Physics Shape on the room Unable to enter the room Door Frame shape after hitting Analyze Door Frame Physics Shape* looks right to me Door Frame in game *you shall not pass! Any advice and help would be appreciated. Oh also I'm running the SL viewer Second Life 3.2.1
