Hello 3ds users, I think it is possible that this question was postetd a lot in the past. But I cant find a usable answer to my problem. Till now I created meshes in 3ds max and created up to 8 faces for to an object. Then putting a color on this faces, creating a dae export and load the object up to SL. Inworld putting a texture on each face, ready. But if I take for example a box with six different faces, I need also six different textures. Lokking at mesh clothes, I got, there is only ONE unwrapped texture for the complete object. Now my question. How can I create a mesh object, putting this one texture on it and it fits. I followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya8jNCVLJGw But if I exporta mesh object after following this tutorial, loading it up and put the texture onto the object, it does not fit. Using standard option of texture; i cant see anything. Using planar option, I see the texture but it does not fit to the object. Its tiled. Is there any tutorial to show the way from 3ds model to mesh SL mesh, with one unwrapped texture used for it? Greetings Sunga
