Viewer 2 hangs every time I try to log in on Windows 7. It goes to the black loading screen, the loading bar gets to 'Loading World" and gets about 90% across the screen, then stops and SL freezes. Eventually WIndows 7 hits the "Timeout Detection" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg487368) and reboots the video drivers, which unlocks my computer, but kills SL in the process. This hang happens in Win7 even on a completely fresh install of the SL client. I have: - Completely deleted the entire C:/Users/user/AppData/SecondLife/ folder - Uninstalled Viewer2 - Rebooted - Reinstalled and ran Viewer2 And when I ran it, it hung. There were no other programs running at the time, and none had been run before the install. The Firestorm viewer exibits the exact same behavior, but Phoenix (based on Viewer 1) seemed to be working tonight, though I admit I haven't given it as thorough of a testing, since I just wanted to get online at that point. Also: If I boot this exact same computer into XP instead of Windows 7, Viewer2 runs perfectly, 100% of the time. I'm at my wits end. I have no idea what else to do other than completely reinstalling Windows, and I'd rather not do that if I can. Since SL is being killed by Windows rebooting the video drivers, I'm not even sure how to get a crash report out of this.
