im having isues with my sl and i need to update it on my computer. i us linux os and i dont know how. my os is ubuntu 10.1

When I log in it askes for last name. I was not given one, any help here. Do I just pick one or what. Im new to this. I just downloaded this today. Thank u. that helped im in know
