The only trouble is that there are many pdf documents and the page generates the links dynamically depending on what the user searches for. It there a way to pass data between a web page and an object script?

I know, but even when I have it enabled on the viewer, I can't get it to open pop-ups to an external browser. (thanks for the reply)

Hey guys, I'm trying to display a website in SL that displays PDFs. I know this is not possible, but what I was wondering is if any of you know how to get hyperlinks to open a page in the external browser? Kind of like: 1.User opens page on shared media prim 2.User clicks link to PDF 3.External browser opens and displays PDF I have already tried using javascript and enabling shared media pop-ups in preferences. converting the PDF to flash is not possible. I am basically trying to automate the Window button "Opens the current URL in an external web browser." on shared media
