My SL Viewer 2 was working fine. I did the upgrade to Viewer 3.0.3 and now it crashes while initializing VFS. Here is what I have tried: 1. manually removed my cache files. Reboot. Did NOT fix. 2. I have uninstalled the game. Manually removed my cache files. Rebooted. Reinstalled clean copy from fresh download. Did NOT fix. 3. I have uninstalled the game. Manually removed my cache files. Gone into registry and manually removed instances of Second life. Rebooted my system. Reinstalled from a clean copy using another fresh download from the website. Did NOT fix. Here is what I have: Windows 7 Home 64 bit; AMD Athlon II x2 265 Processor; 8129MB RAM; NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti -- None of these have changed in several months. The problem started with the most recent update to the SL Viewer. None of the ideas that I have been able to find are working to solve this problem. Any other ideas out there? Thank you - Fia ****************** Update: ******************** As it turns out, when I updated my SL viewer, Windows also did an update. I had to rollback my graphics driver to a previous version for SL to work again. Thank you all that answered. I did try everything you suggested first.
