    Question on customizing an AO

    Hi All,

    I want to customize my AO. It has dance anims inside and I want to add more. I'm about to buy some from a vendor and there are 2 options: "transfer" and  "copy", which is more expensive. Since I'm not making a copy, can I use just purchase the "transfer" version to put that into my AO?

    Yeah. LOL thanks for the input Lucinda but this has nothing to do with "swords" and/or the sounds from swords. Maybe you might have asked "what" object was making the sound but as I indicated in my post, "I am *not* the scriptor of the object". Btw, the object is a "collar" rezzing onto my neck.

    Just wanted to add when I initially joined SL using Linden viewer 2 all was fine, even the Marine Kelly viewer was fine. Also to note that Phoenix is running fine but Linden Viewer 3.2 is just black&gray no interface, menu, nothing. If I look in processes, it's running but I see nothing.     Hi All, I did a clean install of Viewer 3 a while ago but after install all that comes up is the viewer with the screen half black and half dark grey... no login, no nothing. I installed Phoenix and that has been working perfectly. Just did another install of Viewer 3, removing the old first and the same thing is happening. Why is the screen blank?

    Hi Alicia,

    There are no objects of his showing up in: World -> about land -> objects
    so would this mean none of his scripted items are running on our parcel?

    I think the best thing is to just ask him to move his skybox and if that doesn't work contact the property manager.

    Hi Amethyst,

    Thanks for the reply.  Their skybox hangs over by one third. I didn't think that scripts usage was alloted by parcel per se. Thought it would counted per sim where you could somewhat see where the heaviest usage was coming from.

    We are allowed to install our own security system and the estate owner even supplies a free security orb. Ban lines are disallowed by covenant although some on the sim have them up, we do but will take them down when we install the security orb. They don't bother me, you have to right up on them to see them and Phoenix allows you to turn them off.

    So is there a way to prevent someone caming into the property? or caming in and being able to click on things?

    Hi all,

    New to SL, trying to take it all in. I have a couple of questions:

    1) I am renting a parcel on a sim and my neighbors skybox is overlapping onto my parcel, are the scripts they are running in their skybox being associated with my parcel?

    2) Is there a way to pervent someone caming into/on to my property?

    Hi All, Not sure where to put this but... There were no instructions and instead of "wearing" an object I just set it in the air, thinking there would be a pose ball or box or something instead this object is rain and I don't know how to stop it. When I do an area search in Phoenix it is located but how do I select it or turn if off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

    Thanks Orca and thank you Marigold for stopping by and helping out. Orca as I told Marigold I found that it was a bird created by Silent Mole. Marigold told me he's a builder for LL and as suggested by my friend who caught him, I am to IM him about it. Now that I know what it is and more importantly, that it's harmless, I don't really care as much. Thank you and Marigold, you really went out of the way to help and were so considerate about my newness and privacy, a big thank you! Rho

    Bug, rodent or bird

    Hi All, I hope someone can help me, my Linden home has some kind of bug, rodent or bird that appears. It appears as flying or walking (it's very small so I can't make what it's using as movement), and then goes through the wall to the outside. It appears about every 2 or minutes or so. Is anyone familiar with this and how do I address the situation? TIA
