Hi Peter, I am not shure if I understand what you are telling me, but i connected an ethernetcable to my wireless router and the problem is stil there....I will try the pingtest.......and hope it tells me something i can understand (I am no computer expert) Thank you for your support ,hopefully we can stay in contact until the problem is solved

I am experiencing a similar problem. I can enter SL with my Firestormviewer, but I cannot TP anywhere, I cannot see the names of friends or people nearby, and I cant send IM's or do friendrequest. I tried things like installing SL3 at another computer, opening a new account, but the same problems happens over and over. When I open SL i see the message: requesting region capabilities, attempt 1, requesting region capabilities, attempt 2, requesting region capabilities, attempt 3,. I didnt see this message before. I am a mac user. And I had another router installed this week. Does anybody have an idea?
