  1. Thanx for such a quick response! I didn't think the hair was able to be salvaged, but I appreciate the help, anyway...will try to buy low prim from now on. And so sorry I didn't clarify about Scrubber...I was reading another person's issue about unwanted scripts, and two people who offered help mentioned using a 'Script Scrubber' and that you could get one free in Marketplace. Didn't work this time, but maybe will come in handy in future. About 'Nifty Neko Claws'...I just mean I bought a great set of claws (they have lots of options) and wasn't sure that if I delete the scripts, would they remain forever in their current setting. Best..Go safely, Gossamer My favourite hair is a very laggy 1440 kb and is No Modify, so I can't delete the scripts. When I right click/left click the hair, there is no option to 'delete script info'. Ashamed to say, but I'm also not sure how to use the Free Scrubber I got to fix the problem...it says to place the scrubber in to the hair, but doesn't say how. Can you tell, please? Also, I have some nifty Neko claws that are 635kb each..yikes! If I delete the scripts in them, will I loose the ability to change their colour/textures? The instructions that came with them don't tell me, and I'm afraid I'll have to go through KittehLife with some massive lag-in-tow. Any ideas for a confused and heavily weighted newbie?Thanx oh-so-much!
  2. Hep...in Trouble! (Even my Geek Squad buddies couldn't solve this one.) I've been using Viewer 2.7.2 but after downloading the 2.7.4 update, I get these nasties just after the Initializing VFS box vanishes: Second Life Crash Logger, a flashing box that says Gathering Hardware Information and App may appear Frozen. Then the SL Icon in the task bar goes away. I've tried lots of fixes in the last few days then in desperation (deep breath) restored my computer to factory settings. (Yup, little black box clean as a whistle)......Now I can launch Viewer in Basic Mode (one time only) but if I try to log back on (in Basic or Advanced) I get that horrid report again, so I can't even get in to clear my viewer cache. To clear cache manually I looked for the APPDATA in my files, but there is none. I've uninstalled/reinstalled SecondLife, used disc cleanup/defrag and Kaspersky cache cleaning. On one try I even uninstalled Kaspersky before I installed the Viewer, but with same results. I've gone to Wiki and downloaded 2.7.2 again, BETA, and 1.23, also with same results. Now is THAT odd? Any help would be magnificent! Much thanks, LG
