  1. Hello there, I've been having severe issues as well the last week. I tried everything from doing a Trace Route, to updating sound drivers, to uninstalling & reinstalling firestorm & even trying different viewers. I'm a big user of Skype and I utilize while I'm on SL to speak with my family members in sl, bc some of them also have sound issues. What I found was that if you go into Control Panel>hardware & sounds>manage audio devices and you right click on those & click properties>advanced, you have to make sure that Exclusive Mode, is UNchecked. It will say "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". That was my problem & it took me forever to figure it out. Bc somehow my computer decided to check it back off again on me.
