I am having the same problem. I even tried another card thinking that would help, but no. It also won't let me remove saved details in order to put new ones up. I get that same message and it is really driving me crazy If it doesn't get sorted out soon I see no point in staying around second life. So will contribute to the others leaving in droves.

I keep getting this message: We were unable to complete your request because: The password you entered does not match our records.Please try again. What password are they talking about?! It's not my usual log in one, I have tried a hundred times...
