Do I delete the entire XML of Open Notifications or do I just open it and erase the contents but leave it alone?

So is it safe to say that if I navigate to that folder and delete it's contents I won't totally screw something up? lol Thanks SO much for your help and time!

I've made an important observation I think... Both SL Viewer and Firestorm will allow me to log in with no problems when I'm using an Alt but I don't stand a chance with my main. *Shrugs* I would love to clear my notifications but it won't even give me a moment on long enough to get rid of them... My inventory is about 14,500 items... *sigh*

*blushes* I've got a full plate of notifications pending lol I wasnt aware you could clear that thing out so it's just kinda permenently sat at 99+... :catsurprised: No clue to how clear all those...

I have had this happen to me once on my old laptop about a year ago, sounds weird but try right clicking on the SL viewer icon and click "Run as Administrator". It worked for me like a charm when I had that issue, best I can think of is that something was blocking it from running (anti virus, firewall, etc.). *shrugs*

I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on what is going on with my viewers or my computer lately. I an using a Compaq computer, desktop. I have a NVIDIA graphics card with current drivers installed. I am on a broadband internet connection. I have been using Second Life Viewer and Firestorm daily since I got this computer in January without any problems until about a week ago. The issue presented itself occasionally initially, I would go to log into SL Viewer (which is my default viewer) and sometimes it just could not log me in, started out being about 5 out of every 10 log in attemps would result in immeaidate log out upon log in. It got worse very quickly and in less than 24 hours I couldn't get onto SL at all with the SL Viewer. So I went over to Firestorm, same problem. Started out that it would happen about 50% of the time and now I cannot log in at all with it either. The only viewer I can get to currently run seemlessly is Pheonix and I cannot stand it. Another thing I found interesting is that right around when this started my Firestorm viewer started popping up this message everytime I open the viewer: "We are unable to decode the file storing your saved login credentials. At this point saving or deleting credentials will erase all those that were previously stored. This may happen when you change network setup. Restarting the viewer with previous network configuration may help recover your saved login credentials." Now I have completely uninstalled both the SL viewer and the Firestorm viewer and reinstalled them, I am still having the same problems. When I go to log in with either I get a black screen (cannot see the still image of where I am about to log into), it takes about 4-5 minutes to even complete the log in at all because it tends to get stuck when it completes the loading bar and will occasionally go to Not Responding, then it will jump back to life and promptly log me out, sometimes showing me a message along the lines of "Darn, you've been logged out of Second Life. The Region may be experiencing trouble. Please check your internet connection." and sometimes just closing the whole problem abruptly, crash style. I cannot figure out what has been done differently to cause these problems and why now I can only run a V1 type viewer when for about 6 months I ran these two viewers without any problems whatsoever. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. It's fixed!!! A very patient soul that came to the ranch with a horse on his head that I flagged down (I figured someone with a horse on their head knew how to re-position a horse! lol) helped me mix the problem... It was all just moving the horse... Thank you so much for your time and help George, I was not getting any error messages and if you hadn't said it was a position issue I would have kept thinking it was messed up some other way... Thanks a million! Off to ride! :-)

I can lower and raise the horse with adjust horse and get it where it is on the ground correctly but how on earth do I move her from the right side of the horse in mid air to onto it's back? When I click Edit on the horse I am quite overwhelmed by the amount of options and I have no idea what I'm doing... Thanks for the help! When I right click the horse these are the options I see: Touch Edit Detach Sit Down Stand Up Change Outfit Edit My Outfit Edit My Shape My Friends My Groups My Profile Drop When I'm in Edit I see nothing about Scripts and resetting them... Unfortunately I'm so new to all this (I've been a member since 9/10 but I've only walked about and changed my clothing, I haven't gotten into it until this past week) that I pretty much need step by step help on how to fix this since I have no idea what I'm doing with Edit... I didn't know what the heck scripts were until I learned the hard way and made a mistake yesterday evening... I bought a AKK Black Unicorn from the AKK Ranch. I used him fine all over the ranch.... I then went home, with the unicorn... I have a Linden Home... All of a sudden my unicorn is up off the ground, I'm straddling mid air parallel to the unicorn, no where near on his back, just hanging in mid air. I cannot figure it out. I went back to the AKK ranch, put the unicorn away, took it back out, and it's still doing the same thing, so is the back up copy! But the Demo horse I got before Unicorn that I never wore off the AKK ranch is fine... How do I fix this??? I have IM'd the ranch owner but hey, I'm impatient! Thanks for any help guys! I'm eager to get out riding in script allowed areas! -Jenna
