Hi. I saw in these forums and on YouTube that Linden Labs is working on a mobile client for SL that will work on iOS (and I'm guessing iPadOS too). I believe that macOS apps are pretty similar to iOS apps when it comes to the code base (though I'm not a programmer). So I'm just wondering: is there hope for an eventual SL client optimized for macOS? I bought a Mac computer with an M1 Max chipset and I still have keep my graphics settings in the middle (using Firestorm). I'd love to be able to set my graphics settings to high, which I think should be possible if a client were optimized for Apple Silicon. Am I just being naive in hoping for such a client?

Hi. I’m not a scripter or mesh designer but I’m looking for someone to make a scripted mesh object for me. I think it should be fairly simple, but I’m not sure. I’m willing to pay for it, but I don’t know what it will cost. I’m looking for someone to make a light-up bow-tie. It should look like a normal bow-tie except each side will have four flashing “lights.” I’d like the HUD to do the following: allow me to choose a pattern for the base of the bow-tie (ten or so choices). I’d also like to be able to change the colors and flashing patterns of the lights (eight or so choices). Also, it should work with mesh (I’m not mesh yet, but am in the process of switching). Please message me inworld if you are capable of making the object and let me know your fee. Thanks.

Hi. I have a Mac running the latest OS: Mountain Lion 10.8.3. I'm also using the latest versions of Firestorm and the official Second Life viewer. My problen: When I use Firestorm or the official viewer, after a few minutes, I get the spinning beach ball and I have to force quit. This has started happening with more and more regularity. Sometimes, after I restart my computer, the problem is temporarily gone. Although, usually when I restart, there is no difference. I'm not having this problem with any other apps on my Mac. But, since it's happening to both Firestorm and the official viewer, I wonder if the problem is a file on my Mac that they are both accessing. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Hello. I'm using the latest viewer for Mac. When I join a Group, the Group Tag appears above my avatar but I can't see it. I have the "Group Titles" checkbox in Preferences unchecked. Other people can see the tag which is the only way I knew it was visible. Is this a bug? Shouldn't I be able to see when it's visible too? Thanks.

Yeah, I just downloaded 2.6.1 now it's working fine.

Actually, it seems even worse now. I can't see Groups or Picks now either. I've attached a screenshot of my Profile but it looks the same when I'm viewing other people's profiles.

I can see some pictures but not most of them. I just deleted my Application Support and Cache files and I'm still having the same problem with the viewer. The Phoenix viewer is displaying the profiles fine.

Hi. I am using the latest version of the official viewer for Mac. All of a sudden, it stopped showing people's 1st Life photo, and often their 2nd Life photo too. It worked fine a few days ago. I re-downloaded the viewer and the problem persists. Not sure what to do. Thanks.
