  1. I thought it was an animation problem since it seemed the "Stop Animating Command" stopped the lock ups. But it wouldn't stop the longer lasting ones.
  2. After spending a good part of yesterday trouble shooting various things; checking animations, CPU usage, etc. It might actually be a connection problem. My internet is cutting out very briefly and then reconnecting almost instantly. Could this be causing this?
  3. After some more tests, the "Stop Animating Me" only works about half of the time. I have tried this out in empty sims and managed to replicate the lock up. Is there a communication error between my client and the server?
  4. It's an issue with a high priority animation. Using the "Stop Animating Me" command instantly resolves the lock up. However, this is a temporary fix at best. Is it possible to find a way to stop this from occurring?
  5. I already checked my statistics before coming here. Here is what I get when a lock up occurs: - My ping ranges from 50msec to 70msec. - There is no packet loss. - Time dilation is .990 to .997 - Sim FPS and Physics FPS is 45. I've attached pictures of how the lock up looks like: - http://d.pr/i/LZ5z - http://d.pr/i/QHwM I can't move. I can't right click sit. Scripted objects I am wearing will not work. Other avatars are moving around just fine when I lock up. I am stuck in this same animation for a few seconds. Sometime it happens every minute, other times it happens once every fifteen. I have reproduced this with scripted attachments and without them.
  6. I am able to log into Second Life, however my avatar's movement locks up sporadically for seconds at a time. I am not able to move or do anything, however people around me are moving just fine. This is not account based as I have tried it on a friends account and it does this as well. This problem is also not viewer based as I have reproduced this issue on several viewers. It seems to happen mostly before I jump or right as I land after a jump. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

  8. Do you know what other programs I'll need to be able to make sculpts?
  9. I have recently decided that I would like to pursue content creation on SL. I have been working with basic primitives for a a few months or so and I'd like to make the jump to sculpting. The problem is that I don't know how. I did a bit of searching on Google but there are little to no instructions on how to sculpt and texture sculpts on Mac OS X. Most of the programs I have found are Windows OS only. While I did find some Mac friendly programs, I could find no detailed tutorials for them. Does anybody know any decent programs for sculpting and texturing that can be used on Mac OS X? Tutorials would also be greatly appreciated. The programs must be free due to my financial limitations. Thank you for taking the time to help me out, your aid is greatly appreciated! - Yours truly, Tokyo Garaguru
  10. I have been trying for several days now to teleport into the "Valley" simulator. I have confirmed that the simulator is indeed online but I keep getting the "No valid parcel could be found" error despite the fact that there are individuals in that particular simulator. The simulator is on public access. What can I do to fix this problem?
