I recently bought a computer in SecondLife and I can't log in to Chrome or Youtube, or play any media really because it gives me an error that the browser needs to be updated. Does anyone know what I need to do?

I've tried 6 times now, I have the L$, and it let's me select the file, but as soon as I do my viewer freezes and I have to force quit. I run on a mac if that is of any help.
