Debz Nightfire

For days now, I cannot get signed on to Firestorm/Phoenix viewer....I just got a new hard drive installed on my laptop. I need some assistance with what the problem could be. I cannot even get onto second life viewer. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am using the 4.4.2.34167 download. As soon as I sign on the firestorm icon, I get a pop up "Firestorm has stopped working", also says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." Then the Firestorm crash logger box pops up. I have toshiba satelitte, vista laptop, 32 bit, ATI Radeon X1250. I am not sure what settings need to be for this viewer to work as far as firewall, etc. goes. Thanks again for your help!
