Just uninstalled and reinstalled, the the turning off basic shaders appears to have fixed the problem. Thank you.

Just did that; now stuck in loop of SL crashing at startup.

There are no issues with version 1.23.5. I can use this old version with no problems, please...NEVER stop letting that be a choice for users. All of the new and improved viewers don't even work on new computers. I will just have to live with seeing some peoples' clothing as strage trianges, since I can't see the new mesh items in the old viewer. But at least...I can see everthing else,

I have a new Dell 17 R, this is night #2 with it. I have installed the new viewer, the beta viwer, and a couple of 3rd party viewers; I have the same problem with all. The graphics flash in and out, some times going black, like I am in a lightning storm at night. It is worse for chat windows and text boxes; they flash black and red, and scroll bars look rainbow colored. have no idea how to fix this. Again, it is this way with at least 4 different viewers. This is the bad boy in question. If anyone can assist me with settings, I would be grateful.
