Are you saying that its the NETGEAR router that is causing all my connection issues?? I'd been having the same issues since I moved to my new home and had internet installed.. I just looked (after reading these posts) and saw that mine is Netgear.. Freaking Great. I will be calling my isp today. Thanks!!!

I have this EXACT same problem.. But I have the highest internet speed available to me.. a new router.. have tried it wireless AND plugged in.. Yet it still disconnects my modem EVERY time I log into SL. Lastnite I even tried using an older viewer and it had me as "Away" until I logged out. It's VERY frustrating.. Does anyone have better answers? Please!
