Are there like no sims or things to do in the beta grid??

Well the beta grid is mainly for testing, like Mesh was tested there before deployment to the main grid.

You can build and upload things for free, see how they look. A lot of builders hone their creative skills there without any interruptions from friends or customers.

 

I know the aerodrome from SL is on the beta grid and you can go skydiving.
