when i buy a shape, it doesnt look like the pic, no modify its ugly help

Hi, when i put a shape on and its no modify, it doesnt look like the picture its meant to be like, i dont understand what is wrong, if anyone could help i would appreciate it, i been in sl for a couple of years now and i dont get it, its driving me nuts, thanks x

Your final look also depends on the skin you are wearing with the shape. ALWAYS try demos before buying is the best advice you can be given. Also try to buy modify shapes so you can freely edit your appearance. Now you may look for a skin that will make look your shape better. Here again, try demos before purchasing.
