Dumb question: if I buy a mainland parcel and I don't like the terraforming, can I change it?

It depends on where you buy it.  Most mainland can only be terraformed + or - 4 meters.  Some older land a lot more.  Linden developed areas such as Bay City, you can't at all.  If you want to terraform a lot look for land on the older continents and ask before you buy if you don't see anyting about it in the land description or covenant.

Hi Dream. Depending on where is your land, you may not be allowed to terraform it (if this is Linden home land, you are not allowed to terraform at all):

Terraforming limits:

  • Most mainland can be raised/lowered by 4 meters (+/-).
  • Some mainland cannot be terraformed, including: Bay City Regions, Blumfield, Boardman, Brown, De Haro, Nautilus City Regions, Nova Albion Regions, Shermerville Regions, and West Haven.
  • A few, very old mainland Regions like Da Boom have a terraform range of 40 meters (+/-).
