I cannot view the world, or most of my avatar above water?!

I don't know what the problem is, regardless of what viewer I donwload, I cannot view the world. I see trees, water and some objects, but I don't see most objects, other people or buildings. As for my own avatar, I can only view her attached hair piece above water. If I go underwater, I can see most of her, but she's sort of disfigured. No head, see through body parts etc. Im sure the problem isn't my computer, because Its brand new and I barely play SL on it. But it also isn't my account because my other avatr had the same issues.

Considering you are having issues with several viewers, you may check your internet connection. Unplug your router and restart it after a few seconds. Check your wire. If you use wireless, use a regular cable instead. If you are still having problems, contact your provider: your router may have to be updated or changed.

PS: I have already told this story in other answers, but I have had the same issues as you some time ago, and it finally appeared that my cat had chewed the Ethernet cable! :smileyvery-happy:

New computers actually often have old drivers. Check for your graphics card/chip driver. Do you have automatic updates enabled for a Windows OS?
