New tattoo creator. Any hints or tips to make them sharper once uploaded?

I've began making tattoos and shapes. A lot of times once I upload an image and make a layer of clothing, the edges are blurry or very pixelated. And tips or ways to fix that? Thanks in advance!

I've only made a few textures, there is a content creation forum. Your question may be provided better solutions in one of the creation categories. Q&A sections has a habit of burying a post with newly created questions.

What little I can offer on textures is to zoom on an image created prior to uploading to see if the edge is jagged (fill in the blanks by hand). Use a creation tool with a sharp edge. Most images look great on small surfaces but when used on larger prims the image distorts (change the original Canvas size when creating).

There is not really a way around for that except for making prim tattoos cuz It's a kinda SL limitation.
