Freya VanDouser
I want to protect my avatar, not just the land from copy bots. Is there a product like that?
0 valerie Inshan
Make everything no copy, no modify, no transfer. In case you feel you have been robbed, send an AR. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Filing-an-abuse-report/ta-p/700065
0 bee Baroque
as far as i know a viewer you can describe as a copybot viewer can bypass any permissions set, so making stuff no mod helps absolutely nothing.
0 Freya VanDouser
The thing is, as my friend explained to me. A person using bot copy viewer, can just click on the person (avi) and steal-copy anything that person has on, inclding shape, hair, etc. As she has said: you never know it happened. There are no pop ups, nothing that could warn you that someone did it. So I can't remport anything to the LL, cause all there is to it I can suspect. I do have a Phenom Chaos HUD, it warns me when someone clicks on me, but I can never know if that person is simply clicking on me to read my profile, tries to see if I have clickable bits on myself, or is trying to copy something from my avi. That is why I wanted to find out if there is anything that I can buy, as a hud for example and wear, what could protect my avi from those kind of actions. I spent more than 2 hours trying to find that kind of product in world, and on the marketplace, but did not find it...
