What is the likely response from LL if someone has divulged a few paragraphs of a private convo?

Just wondering what the "penalty" would be if someone divulged parts of a conversation to another user on SL? (The content was released as it was burdening the person whom it was told to, someone was cheating, so the third person was notified)

That would fall under Disclosure, one of the "Big Six" behaviors, as LL calls them, "that will result in suspension or, with repeated violations, expulsion from the Second Life Community."

Generally, violations of the Community Standards will first result in a Warning, followed by Suspension and eventual Banishment from Second Life. In-World Representatives, called Liaisons, may occasionally address disciplinary problems with a temporary removal from Second Life.

ETA: Next time, tell the person that confesses to you that he/she is cheating that you don't want to hear about it, and you sure as hell won't lie for them. And then just stay out of it.

keep a record of the conversation and lie an abuse record. Divulging prtivate IMs are agains the TOs.
