Change height of run animation?

I use a quadrupedal running animation for a few of my avatars, and some of them dip pretty far below the ground during it. I was wondering if there's a way to automatically adjust my hover height specifically when I'm running? Or if there's a way to edit the animation's height, or any other workaround I could use?
