Store not managed

Any know how long a store running even the owner is not logged in?

Bought a dress in a store  at Marketplace. later i see that there is a issue with texture.

It cost 900L so of course i do want to have it fixed.

When i check out owner i see he have not been logged in since June 2021.

Inworld store is gone and the "store manager" he point all issues to is not even in group anymore.

For me it seems strange a store run with no person behind. That the money add to a pot on his account

but never been taken out ( i asume you MUST be logged in for take it out).

The "last online" date only shows when they logged in-world. You can cash out by logging into the website. You can also log into the beta grid.

The last time LL cleaned up old stuff from the Marketplace was 2019.
They disabled products that hadn't been bought for 1 year, if the merchant hadn't logged in for 2 years.

They will do the same cleanup this year. (Or maybe they've done it already, I'm not sure.)

 

And while it's not great as a consumer... the merchant is never obligated to provide customer support for their products, or fix any issues with the product, or give refunds. If you've bought something and it's not working, write a review.

Aha!  thanks for answer. Guess store will close this year.

Why i wanted contact with him is overall the quality is good, just this little issue.

No, the store won't close this year because we know people are still buying products from the store.

The owner may also have logged in recently (even if it's not in-world), so possibly none of their products will be unlisted.
