Want to meet SciFi, Steampunk, Alt-Timeline friends, Romans, countrymen

I just rented a homestead, Gaia, and am looking to meet friends and family unmet as of yet. The title covers my interests, but of course there are others. I'd like to get linked in to a community of people, fans, well, fanatics, of this crazy platform/game/reality system, as well as the title of my post. My real life was casework for homeless veterans, homelessness and addiction issues... before an accident recently grounded me, and I now spend a lot of time inworld. 

Stop over, say hi I'll likely be building, or reading, shopping while parked. I also go out a lot, to various clubs, musics, arts and cultures.
