friends missing from list

hi all,

anyone shed any light as to why some contacts on a friends list don't show there?...they show on the dashboard but their i'ms only arrive offline?

Hey iambrut,

I'm having what is likely the same issue that started a couple of days ago.  After logging on, my friends list is okay, but none of them show as online.  If I IM someone whom I know (because I'm standing right next to them), they may then show online, or maybe not until they also IM me.  In any case even this does not work for the first several minutes after I had logged on.    As other friends log on AFTER me, they may show online.

I have tried everything to fix this:

Cleared my cache, cleared my inventory cache, cleared all my settings, clean reinstalled Firestorm.

After all that I vetted that it is unlikely to be anything on the client side:  I tried logging in on my older computer that still had Firestorm on it and the problem is present there too, where it was not there the last time I used that computer a couple of months ago.

Is this just me or is this a wide-spread issue?   Anyone have something that works here?
