Club Manager for Crossroads Blues

CROSSROADS BLUES LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED CLUB MANAGER

Looking for experienced club manager with roots in the blues community.  Duties would include:

* Networking with blues people in SL to increase traffic
**Join Music and information groups to advertise Crossroads 

 In club attendance required (hours to be determined), greeting, chatting and promoting the club and our staff.  Managing floor managers and assist in the following: 
* Sending the schedule for the day each morning
* Maintaining the schedule for fill ins and changes
* Maintaining the manager schedule
* Calling for fills when needed
.* Keeping track of staff no show, no calls or call offs and reporting to management. 
* Screening  DJ applicants and recommending to owner
* Hiring of hosts and monitoring their performance
* Pass on information about possible DJs and Hosts
* Confirming that notices and events are being posted as required
* If staff come to you with concerns and issues, direct them to owner. You are staff not an intermediary. 
* Be in the club specific  # of hours a week to interact with staff and guests 

Salary will be commensurate with hours & responsibilities. Expect a probationary period to assure cohesiveness with Owners, then transition to Club Manager role if successful in acclimating to the club management role.
