Avatar Help?

New to the game, apologies if this isn't the right forum. 

I was trying to change my avatar, and nothing I did showed up, and then somehow, 

something went terribly wrong. 

I don't know what I did, but I can't fix it. I tried switching avatars, now none of the others are loading in. I switched back to this one and it just stays like this no matter what I do. 

I turned all my settings way down because I thought that was why it wasn't loading but still nothing. Am I doomed to be Starfish Boy for my entire tenure here?
