Can't hear voice through speakers.

Hi, first time posting so sorry if wrong place to post.

I use ear buds/ear phones etc.. to listen to SL by plugging them into the "earphone port" on my speakers. I have issue where I cannot hear voice chat depending on my camera position. Even if change "hear voice from avatar position" "hear voice from camera position" or "hear voice equally from everyone." I stil have this issue and was wonder if anyone can tell me why?

The reason i do not plug me earphones directly through computer because sound is always one sided. I have tried with several different earphone and no matter what, always one sided.
