Crashing at Start Up, can't use Second Life at all.

I tried to download Second Life a while ago, but whenever I try to play it always crashes. I've noticed it crashes at 'Initializing VFS'.

I HAVE deleted the Second Life folder in App Data -> Roaming and rebooted my computer but this did NOT fix the problem. The exact same happened when I tried to start SL up afterwards.

I am using Windows 7.

Any help? Or should I just give up?

Same with me. I can connect to the web just fine. I'm gettin the message  ''DNS.could not resolve the host name''. I just bought a real good brand new video card to. =(

I having a similar problem. As soon as I open the application, it becomes non-responsive. I'm using a Mac.  Help please!
