• Basic users may not own land. You must release your land before downgrading to the Basic Plan

Stand on the land. Then either right click on the ground and select About Land, or use the World menu, Parcel details. Once the About Land screen is open, click the Abandon Land button. Do this on each parcel you own on the mainland. (This does not apply to rented land - where you pay another avatar for use of land).

Additionally: If you are contributing Tier to a group that owns land, you must withdraw the contribution.
