Friendships?

I'm Kat and I'm very new to this, even though my profile is not. I dabbled for a bit and moved SL aside and stayed with my old IMVU account. However, lately SL has been more appealing and it's sucked me in. I really enjoy it here and I've had a hard time finding people who aren't already in their cliques. 

I really debated whether or not to make a thread or not, because many others had done it (but i have messaged quite a few people in response to their threads so it doesn't hurt i guess) 

I'm normally very chatty, and i love reading and writing plus art. So pretty much any liberal arts i'm into. Fashion is another weakness of mine and on SL it's easier for me to buy beautiful things than it is in RL so that's another reason i adore this place now. I'm 20 years and I'm currently in school, and i'm unsure of well school and myself and what i want to do. Then again, who is sure of themselves? I'm extremely laid back about things, and I mainly just love shopping on here and finding really cool spots to just sit and talk with the few friends that i do have on here.

I would love to be able to go around and explore SL more, but that's always more fun with friends! If anyone who has the same types of hobbies or interests then please message me! Even if you do not, is there any place that you would recommend for me to go explore that is rather easy going and with people who are open to friendships besides the ones they've already formed?
