A friend asked me how to delete an old avatar. I have no clue how to do that.

A friend of mine asked my help on deleting an old  avatar.  How  does one  go about doing this?

If your friend remembers this old avatar's name and password, he has to login to this avatar's dashboard, go to "account" (on the left of the web page) and choose "delete account". If it is a basic account, it will be deleted immediately. If it's a premium account, he'll have to abandon any Linden home, mainland parcel he owns or contributes to.
